I really love photography. But I only have a regular ol` digital camera to work with & it`s good to jus` take pictures with friends & stuff. But i want a camera that would be awesome for taking scenery pictures to make them look professional. So any ideas on what I should buy to all the pro photographers out there!?

Nikon or Canon, film or digital. If you are switching to film and going to specialize in scenery, you might include Hasleblad or Rolliflex. I may have misspelled the first one and doubt spell checker will catch it but the camera shops will know. Price line is expensive to out of sight.

If you want the best look no further than Olympus cameras. Their Evolt lineup is unmatched. The E500, E410, and E330 are as good as it gets in an SLR, and they come with exceptionally good quality kit lens. If you want to get a nice zoom lens or a prime, Olympus although limited in the number of lens, more than makes up for it in the quality. Their lens optics are considered as some of the best available.

Don’t brush aside Olympus when you go shopping for a camera. They are not heavy into marketing as Nikon or Canon, but their cameras are just as good or even more so in many regards.

What type of photography are you shooting? First off Canon or Nikon (I’m a Canon man myself) are probably the best on the market. Now normal portrait or scenery type photography I would recommend the Canon EOS 30D or 5D for Sports it would have to be the Canon EOS Mark III or if the cash is a problem then the Canon EOS 30D or Mark IIN. You cant got wrong if money is an issue to purchase the 30D its a solid performer and the price is right.

The bigger the camera, the better the pictures.

Pro landscape photographers use *at the very least* a DSLR.

A better choice would be a 35mm film camera loaded with slow fine-grain film like Fuji Velvia.

For even more impressive results move up to a medium-format rig like the Mamiya RB67, again loaded with fine-grain film.

For truly mind-blowing results go for 4X5 or 8X10 format.

    Hope this helps.
