What do you think makes a music concert photography good?

Saladoom asked:

is it the perfect lightings? or how the lightings make good colours in the photos or is it because of the captured emotions and still moments? how artistic can a band photography be? or is it not really meant to be artistic but rather full of actions?

When you capture the action at the right moment, and of course with the proper lighting.

That is pretty subjective. Everything you have mentioned is important, but what, specifically are you trying to capture? Are you recording place and time? Are you trying to go for the emotions of the band or the audience? Actions can be artistic. It is all what you see when you stand behind the camera. Try different levels and angles though for variety. Really, it’s all up to you! The important thing is to just shoot.
