How can i pursue my interest in photography?

Real Talk asked:

I am a full time mother, work fulltime and go to school part time.
I have always been interested in pursuing photography but i have zero experience. I know time will be an issue but besides that I am financially unable to attend additional classes or buy the equipment needed to pursue my interests even if i decided to teach myself.

What are other ways I may be able to go about pursuing my interests, besides having to apply for courses at a community college or something?

Even if you just have a cheap digital camera, you can still go around taking pictures of everything to get better. Get some gooks on photography and learn about light, different types of shots you can take and just practice.

    Hi Real Talk,

Just had another thought. Check your local library for books on introductory photography or your local bookstore. There are a gazillion books of this sort. You can even find some on the bargain tables. Pick those that appeal to your particular interest in photography.

    Later,
    Bob

Here is an inexpensive book that will answer most of beginners’ questions related to cameras, accessories, techniques and so on. I have had this book for 3 years, and still keep referring to it.
